Joining us during the past decade were well-established South African distributors of specialty raw materials with specific focus on the Flavour, Cosmetic and Pharmaceutical industries. Adhesives
Whatever the end application, our comprehensive range of raw materials and additives meets the demanding requirements of the Adhesive formulator. Building on over 90 year’s Group experience of supplying Gum Rosin and Rosin derivatives, we also represent key principals and suppliers from around the world offering a diverse range including: hydrocarbon resins, PCR, starches, SIS/SBS copolymer elastomers, waxes and additives for all applications incl. hot melt, PSA, and contact adhesives.
Coatings
Working with a well-established portfolio of world-class suppliers, we offer the surface coatings industry a wide range of high-quality raw materials including:

Refractory
Working with speciality alumina suppliers who bring many decades of experience to their ranges of high-performance products, we offer a one-stop for the refractory industry in South Africa, from a full range of Calcium Aluminate Cements to Tabular, Reactive, Calcined and Dispersing Aluminas and Magnesia-rich Spinels. In addition, we offer diverse products such as Chamotte and Silicon Carbide, to complete the basket for all refractory applications.

Rubber

The Polymers team has established itself as a significant distributor of materials as well as offering technical support for these growing sectors, providing:
ABS, Acetal Co-Polymer, Composites, CSM, EVA, HIPS/GPPS, Nylon, Polycarbonate, PVC Emulsion, Suspension Resins, Thermoplastic Elastomers, TPU and other Engineering Polymers.
Anchor Chemicals
Our selection of products manufactured at Anchor Chemicals include:
Adhesives (Ecorrlok and Ty-Ply) for bonding rubber to metal and other rigid substrates.
Coated Powder Blends (proprietary and custom made) with or without dust suppression.
Process Aids to facilitate the dispersion of fillers within rubber compounds and ensure smooth processing.
Release Agents are widely used in the batch off process as a surface treatment for green rubber layers to assist with processability. It gives temporary tack insulation between the plied sheets and is compatible with most types of rubber compounds.
Davprene TPR Compounds (black and coloured) that services the footwear industry.
Davblack Black Masterbatch specially designed and tailored to customer specifications for Extrusion to Compression and Injection moulding grades.

In addition, we source Coal Tar, Iodoform Compound and Chlorocresol in small and large packing, as well as difficult to find ingredients for all pharmaceutical products.
